Traditionally Wear Horse Riders Jodhpurs

Riding breeches are tight-fitting pants, especially around the calves, so they fit inside tall riding boots. Horsemen traditionally wear jodhpurs. The tight pants had slits in the seam a few inches above the ankle. This caused the leg to come out of the pant leg.
